ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning)

This ERP system supports real internal business operations, with a strong focus on accounting foundations such as chart of accounts, transaction posting, and debit/credit logic. I joined after the early planning/database work and contributed by implementing features, improving workflows, and ensuring the system matched real operational rules.

Laravel + Blade Accounting Logic Chart of Accounts Transactions Assets & Depreciation Team Collaboration (Git)

What I worked on

  • Implemented and refined accounting workflows including debit/credit rules and transaction behavior.
  • Worked on asset and depreciation-related logic to support operational finance tracking.
  • Collaborated with senior teammates to keep development aligned with business rules and delivery timelines.
  • Used Git actively for team-based development, reviews, and structured delivery.

How I approached the domain

A key part of contributing to an ERP is understanding the domain. I studied the fundamentals of accounting workflows (debit/credit, chart of accounts structure, transaction posting, depreciation concepts) so I could implement features correctly and communicate effectively with the team.

Outcome

Delivered features and improvements within the expected timeline while maintaining stable workflows. This project strengthened my ability to translate complex business rules into reliable web application logic.
